Riela Yachts: Safety, service, and continued development

Across Riela Yachts, safety has and will continue to remain at the centre of everything we do. With new vessels joining our fleet and further advancements in Riela’s compliance and safety support, our commitment to simplifying yacht ownership has only strengthened.

We’d like to thank all crew members for their vigilance and commitment to safety. Through our purpose-built eSMS platform our safety team as well as crew members can track and analyse our fleet data more effectively via our tailored reports – using it to further strengthen safety practices and ensure our guidance and support is always relevant for the vessels we work with.

As a result we can report that zero major incidents occurred over the past 12 months, 245 Crew members where onboarded with improved processing times for SEAS’s, and more than 12,000 eSMS forms were completed. Your administrative upkeep and reporting have been maintaining the effectiveness and accuracy of our Safety Management System as evidence by our successful DOC and onboard Flag Audits

Alongside side of the eSMS, our Digital Dashboard continues to give captains, owners, and family offices greater visibility over yacht operations. The valuable feedback shared with us throughout the year has enabled meaningful refinement of its functionality, with our in-house development team implementing improvements quickly and efficiently to support smoother workflows for all involved. And of course, our Crewing Services team deserves special recognition, their dedication to ensuring on-time and accurate payments to hundreds of seafarers and maintaining strong relationships with key partners remains exceptional.

Looking back on the past 12 months, our eSMS has really matured. The system is more user-friendly and capable than ever, helping make onboard safety and compliance more streamlined and accessible for our clients. We’ve kept pushing for smarter user led improvements and have laid the foundations for some very exciting projects that will shape our 2026.”

Riela Cyber & Riela Tech: Strengthening digital resilience

In 2025, Riela Cyber took important steps forward in shaping cyber resilience within the maritime and onshore landscape. From penetration testing large corporations to training crew members on essential cyber awareness, our team continued to highlight digital protection as a fundamental layer at any level of business operations.

We were proud to sponsor CYBERISLE 2025 | CSC Isle of Man for the 6th year, with our experts speaking on key industry topics and engaging with the latest trends and technologies shaping the cyber landscape.

Riela Tech also expanded its capabilities this year, supporting smarter working and helping build more secure digital infrastructures across the Group.

The Monaco team is proud to look back on another impactful year, marked by meaningful community involvement, charitable initiatives, the launch of new services, and a series of memorable events.

One of the year’s highlights was Riela Yachts Monaco’s sponsorship of the Tour de Mimosa in October, in support of the Institut de Cancérologie de Mougins. The funds raised will contribute to the acquisition of the Mylab E80, an essential machine for the early detection of prostate cancer.
Continuing our commitment to industry engagement, we were pleased to sponsor the Monaco Marine Annual Golf Competition at the prestigious Saint Endréol Golf Course. The event celebrated Monaco Marine’s 30th anniversary and brought teams together for a day of sport, camaraderie, and fundraising in an exceptional setting.
At the start of 2025, we introduced our new service, Riela Crew Monaco, further strengthening our dedication to delivering comprehensive support to the yachting community.
The Monaco Yacht Show proved to be a great success, reinforcing industry relationships and reaffirming our commitment to excellence in yachting services.
Lastly, our ongoing presence in Florida was strengthened through participation in the Palm Beach International Boat Show and FLIBS, highlighting Riela Yachts Monaco’s focus on close client relationships and well-informed support.
A year of community, connection, and shared moments

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Riela year without attending and celebrating the many events that connect us with the wider industry. From St. Barts Bucket at the start of the year to METSTRADE Amsterdam 2025 just passed, and countless moments in between. We’ve shared great stories, laughter, and yes, the much-loved chocolates and socks! These gatherings remind us of the incredible community we’re privileged to work alongside and proud to be a part of.

“This marked my fourth year with Riela, with Metstrade 2025 standing out as a real highlight, an opportunity to take the Riela name to the wider maritime industry and, finally, to meet so many valued friends and colleagues in person. Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to build on these new and established relationships, while continuing to champion Riela’s safety-first approach.”

Our people and our purpose

Above all, our people remain at the heart of everything we do. This year, we welcomed new faces to Team Riela, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to a growing and dedicated team. Together, we took pride in supporting a number of meaningful causes. Our Charity of the Year was the Flamingo Class at St John’s School Special Provision Centre, while colleagues also supported the Live at Home scheme through generous donations of festive treats. During the summer, the team came together to support Hospice Isle of Man through garden renovation projects, complemented by individual fundraising efforts, including Director Louise Gimson’s Parish Walk in aid of the hospice. The dedication, professionalism, and collaborative spirit of our people continue to drive every success we celebrate.

As we close the year, we are also marking the festive season with a donation to a charity close to our hearts, Isle Stand Up to Suicide, in lieu of Christmas cards. We invite you to visit all of our 2025 chosen charities websites and learn more about the invaluable work they do in support of our Island community.

Looking ahead to 2026

As we look ahead to 2026, our mission remains clear: to continue supporting captains and crew in achieving safer, more efficient yacht operations.

From Rob and all of us at The Riela Group, thank you for being part of our journey this year, we wish you all a wonderful festive period and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
